Another Friday – another fabulous giveaway!  This weekend (Friday 6/19 through Sunday 6/21) you have a chance to win one of two Deadheads Mini-Snips (retail value $6.95) courtesy of ShovelandHoe.com!

According to ShovelandHoe.com, these are “Cute mini snips specifically designed for deadheading, pinching back and cutting. The Deadhead’s Mini Snips are the best way to keep your garden’s borders, baskets and containers flowering. Sitting neatly between the finger and thumb they use a simple pinching action to work, with a spring action handle that makes these mini snips easier to use than traditional pruners and scissors. Comes with a little cover for the snips. Colors are pink, blue, purple and bright green.”  More information about this great product can be found at ShovelandHoe.

To enter, just leave your answer to the question: “Why is it important to deadhead your flowers?“on the comments section of our Facebook Deadheads Mini-Snips giveaway post anytime from Friday June 19 through midnight Sunday June 21 as well as share the Facebook giveaway post on your timeline.   The winner will be drawn at random from all qualified entrants, and notified through Facebook. (See Rules for more information.)

You can view all of ShovelandHoe’s product offerings at ShovelandHoe.    Also – be sure to check out their Facebook.

I believe its important to dead-head the flowers in irder to make room for new buds as well as keeping the plant itself healthy and disease-free.

Is there a way to enter your contests other than through Facebook? I don't have a Facebook account and have no plans to get one. Thanks.
